Team Lead - Dog Trainer/Walker/Pet Sitter
Hi, I'm Chris! I am a Dog Trainer at Happy Tails Pet Care. In 2017 I decided to pursue an education on Dog Training. A year later, I graduated from Animal Behavior College as a Certified Dog Trainer. My new certification scored me a job as a Behavior Specialist at the Halifax Humane Society where I worked on training, evaluating, and rehabilitating shelter dogs. After getting some experience I decided to look for a job being a full time dog trainer and that's how I found Happy Tails.
The team here at Happy Tails has given me a platform to put my knowledge and skills to use and enabled me to further educate myself on dog behavior. I love to educate the communities we serve on how to form stronger and long lasting bonds with their best friends through the power of positive training! Outside of dog training, I love napping with my cats, and creating video game content with my fiancee on YouTube and Twitch.

Team Lead - Pet-Sitter/Walker
Hi, my name is Elizabeth! I am the overnight house sitter and dog walker for Happy Tails. My passion for animal care began when I was a child and was given the opportunity to help rehabilitate wounded and abandoned animals my father would bring home from work at Discovery Island. Since then I have become a professional pet sitter and undergone Pet CPR training in order to pursue my passion.
I have devoted myself to providing the best care and attention to all animals while volunteering at the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, and in my work with Happy Tails! The thing I love most about working with animals is building a strong bond and earning their trust and love. A pet’s love knows no bounds! When I’m off the clock I can be found hiking in a nearby forest or kayaking at the springs!
Ruth, CPPS
Owner & Founder

Hi, I'm Ruth! I'm the owner and founder of Happy Tails. I started this company when I decided to pursue my passion - caring for people and their pets. I grew up caring for pets and actually dreamed of starting a pet sitting business when I was a kid! Fast forward a couple decades and I finally did it. :) I am a Certified Professional Pet Sitter, and have some education in grooming from Animal Behavior College, and animal behavior through IAABC. I love continually learning everything I can on the best ways to care for animals, and volunteering when I can for local shelters and rescues. In my free time you can find me playing Dungeons & Dragons or video games with my friends, bicycling on a trail, or hiking and camping with my husband!
